Sigrid "Siggy" Edith Erna Peters, 1940 - 2018. In the morning of Friday, December 7, 2018, Sigrid Peters, left our world in the presence of loved ones. Sigrid's children were her proudest achievement. She is survived by her daughter Barb (Bill - deceased), son Steve and daughters Tracey and Diane (Clarence - deceased), grandchildren Nick (Amie), their sons Julian and Jonah and granddaughter Lisa. Sigrid is also survived by twin sister Inge; nieces Dagmar (Hartmut) and their children Carston and Hendrich, Pia (Fred), their son Robert, and nephew Sven. She was predeceased by her parents Gunther and Matilda and her brother Eckhart. Sigrid was born in Bad Toelz, Bavaria, Germany. The family spent their early years there until they moved to Canada in 1974. Sigrid visited back home many times to see family; it brought great joy to her. She attended College in Germany for Lab Technician. Upon moving to Canada she had various jobs of which were all helping and serving the public. She was always very hardworking, giving, and enjoyed talking with people and spending time with children. Sigrid was always willing to help anyone in need, regardless of her situation. She taught her children to always be grateful and kind to everyone. Sigrid loved to work with her flowers and feeding the birds. "Her spirit will be greatly missed."
