SADOWSKI: Jeanette Ann passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born in Brandon, Manitoba on April 21, 1933, Jeanette was the youngest child of Joseph and Ann Kruk. She received her schooling and lived her entire life in Brandon. On September 15, 1951, Jeanette married Michael Sadowski. Together they had two children, Joanne and Don. Once her children started school, Jeanette worked at Perth’s Cleaners until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of the Sokol Club and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and more recently her great-grandsons. Jeanette is survived by her daughter Joanne (Grant) Allan; son Don (Terri) Sadowski; grandchildren, Shayne (Tina) Allan, Devin Allan, Brett (Melanie) Allan, Christopher and Andrea Sadowski as well as great-grandsons Isaac and Bryce Allan. Jeanette will also be missed by her sister Dorothy Bach, cousins and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Michael; parents Joseph and Ann Kruk; parents-in-law John and Mary Sadowski; brothers Bernie and Frank Kruk as well as two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law from Poland. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Kevin Smith as celebrant. Pallbearers were Shayne Allan, Devin Allan, Brett Allan, Grant Allan and Don Sadowski. Interment followed at the Brandon Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Jeanette may be made to a charity of choice.
