Neil was born July 28, 1971 in Polomolok, South Cotabato to Cezar and Lydia. His siblings Nieves Joyce, Rex, Fatima Orchid, John Vincent and Julius share fond memories of their youngest family member.

Neil worked at various companies; in the Philippines he worked at Atlas Fertilizer Corporation, Honda, and First Standard Finance Corporation and in Canada he worked primarily at Prairie Mountain Health. He enjoyed being in different working atmospheres and gained many friends along the way that he kept in touched with even when they were thousands of miles apart. His kind and generous nature has touched so many.

He was a member of APhiO Delta Tau batch 1989 and was popularly known as Lone Summer Ranger. He adored his close relationships with his brothers and sisters and always displayed his pride to be part of this group.

Neil was very passionate about Taekwondo; he was always excited to go on tournaments and was very competitive executing it. He poured out this passion by sharing the techniques and discipline with his students. He was loved and respected by his students and colleagues.

He loved to travel and appreciate the marvels of nature. He was a big hockey fan. Jokes and laughter came easy with him. Overall, he was a super nice and caring guy.

Neil joined our Lord peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2020 at the age of 48 years. He was a strong and determined man that fought long and hard to beat cancer. His determination has inspired the people surrounding him to persevere and stay positive in life despite the harsh conditions that we face day-to-day.

He leaves behind his wife Christine, daughter Nicole and two cats Dee-o-gee and Freya, all of whom will miss him dearly.
