SMITH: Donald R., age 75 years, of Brandon, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, May 2, 2020 following a difficult three-year struggle with Multi-System Atrophy and Parkinson’s Disease. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorna, sons Bradley and Jared (Sandra) and granddaughters Autumn and Nia. Due to Covid-19, there will be a private family burial. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date when it is safe to gather together. Announcement of service details and complete obituary information will follow at that time. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Don may be made to Parkinson Canada – Manitoba, c/o #110B – 2103 Airport Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6W2.

Lorna, so sad to hear of Don's passing. What a remarkable man. His kind and gentle demeanor was an inspiration for me and others to be just like him. His influence was far reaching. God bless you and family.
