Obituary for Tyson Kelly

Tyson Kelly
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tyson Kelly, on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the age of 28.

Tyson was born on September 4, 1991 in Brandon, Manitoba. As a teenager growing up, Tyson was a popular kid with a big personality. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and kind and compassionate spirit. Ty was so loved by his peers and built lifelong friendships with people who will never know how much they meant to him.

Tyson was thrilled to welcome two children into the world, Karsyn and Lexon, who were the lights of his life. As a father, Ty was a natural. He spent countless hours playing outside with his kids, creating adventures along the way and was proud of everything they did.

Tyson played many different sports. He was an avid hockey and football player, fearless on the ice and in the field. His passion for football became a favourite Sunday pastime where he loved nothing more than to watch the New Orleans Saints on TV, with his children by his side.

Tyson was an avid music lover. His passion for music was apparent in both his ability to play and to write. He was such a talented young man, admired by everyone who knew him.

Ty loved Bonfires and barbecues. He loved nothing more than to organize a family gathering, making it a memorable evening for everyone.

As Ty continues on though this next journey, he is survived by his two children, Karsyn and Lexon, his mother Lorrie, his older brother Aaron (Missy) and his two younger sisters, Skye and Madison. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Laureen and Keith, his aunts and uncles, Lynn (Paul), Kim (Marianne), and Kelvin. Tyson will also forever be remembered by his cousins Kendall, Cortney (Danny), Kayil (Lindsay), Cara, Kayla, Jeff and his nieces and nephews, Cooper, Emily, Annie, Khloe and Kamryn, along with many more family and friends.

A celebration of Tyson's life will be scheduled for a later date; however, a trust fund in the name of Tyson's two children, Karsyn and Lexon has been set up through RBC. Donations in any amount are welcomed and appreciated.
