HIEBERT: Henry passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 85 after a brief battle with cancer. Henry was born in Lowe Farm, Manitoba on January 29, 1934 to Jacob and Annie Hiebert. The family lived in several locations in southern Manitoba before settling on the homestead farm just outside of Rivers, Manitoba. Henry spent most of his adult life in the Brandon area. Henry retired from Brandon University with more than 30 years of service at the age of 65. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, mechanics, as well as building his skills as an amateur electrician. And, of course, we cannot forget his favourite pastime – auction sales. Henry was blessed with two sons: Calvin (Lori) and Norman, and three daughters: Lillian, Joy (Emmerson) and Sandra (Richard). Henry’s family has grown to include 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Gladys and brothers John and Victor.
