I send my deepest sympathy at this time of loss. I worked with Gene for many years at BU and always enjoyed our conversations and creative problem solving exercises. He was truly interested in and dedicated to students and their success, and his sense of humour and his vast and varied experience helped him to communicate easily with students and colleagues. I know he will be deeply missed.
