Ann, age 80 years, loving wife to Ed, caring mother to Kelly Higgs (Robert), David Higgs (Laurie), Lisa Hercun (Jamie), and devoted grandmother to Matthew and Jorydn Higgs, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Family and friends are invited to wear purple and celebrate Ann's life at a Graveside Service at Brandon Cemetery on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Come and Go Tea from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Brandon Gun Club, 1 mile South on Hwy #10. The family would like to extend a personal thank you to Hillcrest Personal Care Home for all the wonderful care they provided over the last year and a very special thank you to the staff on the 4th floor at the Brandon Regional Health Centre for all the care they provided in our time of emotional grief. Donations in memory of Ann may be made to the Western Manitoba Cancer Centre, c/o BRHC Foundation, 150 McTavish Ave E, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3. To further honour Ann's memory, the family asks that you take your mom or friend out for lunch.
