They moved to Brandon for approximately six years before moving back to Birtle for three years after which they moved to Hamiota. This is where they lived and raised their two children Shaun and Melinda. Sharon was a devoted mother but still found time to work part time jobs while the children were in school. Finally in 1985 she enrolled in a course in Cosmetology from which she graduated with honours. Sharon opened her own salon which she operated until her and Terry retired in December 2000. At that time they moved to their cottage at Sandy Lake where they remained until 2013. After leaving the lake they moved to Rapid City where they resided until her death. Sharon loved the outdoors and was usually first in line to try anything. Her main passions were all water sports, ATVing and snowmobiling as well as gardening and hiking. Sharon and Terry loved to travel and spent several winters in Arizona before she became ill in 2017. She is survived by her loving husband Terry, daughter Melinda (Bryan) Tannahill, daughter-in-law Shelley Robertson, three grandsons Kyle Robertson, Brett and Ryan Tannahill, sisters Hazel, Judy and Karen, brothers Ken and Keith as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
