Condolence: Hi Sharleen. We were so sorry to hear of Jerry's recent passing, and what a shame to lose him at such an early age. And especially when retirement was such a wonderful break from a very busy business, and a time to relax. We just hope that he was not faced with a lot of suffering towards the end. Colleen and I enjoyed spending our time with both of you at Joey's Only, and I guess I have a special connection with Jerry given that Newfoundland was our place of birth. We did not realize he was at Riverheights Terrace, and if Mom's illness and passing (at 101) didn't require her moving to another facility with greater health care, I know Jerry would have been a special part of her life as well. As animal lovers ourselves, and because it meant a great deal to Jerry as well, we will be making a donation in Jerry's Memory to the Humane Society here.
