Memories Chapel | Funerals Cremation Receptions

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Earl Thompson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Heather & Maurizio Greco
Condolence: Debbie, we were truly sorry to hear of Earl's sudden passing. Earl was such a wonderful man and Morris enjoyed their many chats when you both visited Toronto. Fond memories are what we have to remember Earl. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Condolence: Dear Deb,

I only had the pleasure of meeting Earl a few times when he joined us for "Girl's Night." He was such a good sport and put up with us and our kvetching. I enjoyed his sense of humor and will always think of him as one of "The Girls."

Thinking of you,
Sharran

Condolence: I'm surprised and so very sad to hear that Earl ran out of time. I'll not forget his high-energy, his sense of humour, and his deep integrity. I'm lucky to have known him, and my memories of our shared childhood will bring a smile always.

Mrs. Thompson, Debbie, Mark, and sister Lara: the things I could say are things you already know. Take care of each other as you have always done.

Debbie: When I returned to Canada during my mom's illness and passing, you and Earl selflessly and unexpectedly helped me in ways that defy belief. I'm still overwhelmed when I think about you two during those times.

How lucky I was to have known Earl Thompson.

Condolence: Earl was our brother-in-law, an uncle to our children, but above all our friend. His sudden and unexpected passing has left us shocked and saddened. We are thankful for the many vacation times spent together whether it was in our backyard in Ontario, or when we explored the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas in March 2012, or our trip last summer to Halifax. So many wonderful memories to hold onto. Debbie your loss is great and for this we are so very sorry, but we hope that you will find comfort in the lifetime of memories that you shared with Earl. We are so grateful for your most recent visit to Toronto in late May. We continue to hold on to the memories made that long weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Deb and Joyce, Mark and Lara.

Condolence: I was sorry to hear about Earl’s passing. Like many others, I met Earl through cadets. He was one of the finest people you’d ever want to meet and a great friend. I smile when I think of all the crazy stuff we did as teenagers. He will be missed.

Condolence: I was shocked this morning to learn of Earl's passing. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Earl's family.

Earl and I worked together at Manitoba Hydro on 10th St for many years. Earl was an intelligent, enthusiastic and competent employee; a pleasure to work with and simply fun to be around.

Rest in peace Earl.

Condolence: As I read through the condolences, I see many thoughts from those of us who hung out with Earl in cadets. He was so much fun, and I have a lot of great memories of those years. We were quite the group then, glad to read that the awesome young man he was, grew into a man that was loved and respected by some many.
I'm sorry that you've lost your love.
