Obituary for Norman Dopson

Norman  Dopson
Norman Dopson was born April 2, 1919, and passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Assiniboine Centre Palliative Care, at the age of 98 years, with his daughters Marlene, Joanne and Penny by his side. Norman loved with all of his heart and touched everyone with his wit and sense of humour. He was an awesome husband, a fantastic dad, a terrific grandpa and a friend who could cheer up anyone. Norman married the love of his life, June. They were married for 75 years, until her passing in 2015. He will be missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to his many friends at Rotary Villa. Also, special thanks to Dr. Minders and staff at Palliative Care. Many thanks to the numerous people who touched Norman's life in so many different ways. Norman is survived by his three daughters, daughter-in-law Val, three sisters, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife June, son Norman and son-in-law Keith Anderson. The Memorial Service took place at Memories Chapel on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Mark Anderson (grandson) officiated.
