ROTH: Gilbert Dennis "Gil" Roth passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Rivers, Manitoba where he enjoyed living for a number of years. Born May 19, 1944 in McKenzie Island, Ontario, Gil was raised in Red Lake, Ontario. Gil is survived by his wife, Vi, of 47 years; daughter Tammy of Brandon; son Gil Jr. (Nicole) of Sylvan Lake, AB; son Michael (Jennifer) and two grandchildren Natasha and Johnathon of Rivers; mother Elizabeth of Victoria BC; sister Judy (Roger) of Edmonton, AB; nephews Curtis and Jason and families as well as numerous relatives. He was predeceased by father Elmer. Gil enjoyed having coffee with his many friends and will be remembered by all for his kind, caring ways.
