Obituary for Erin Kristen Chorney
Erin Kristen Chorney: A Ceremony to Celebrate Erin's Life will be held at Calvary Temple, 620-34th Street, on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Gary Jennings will officiate. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Erin to Youth For Christ, 763-13th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4R6 or Child Find Manitoba, 343-800 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3G 0N4. CHORNEY: Erin Kristen Chorney, daughter of Darcy and Debbie Chorney, was born on September 30, 1983 in Brandon, Manitoba. She was the oldest of three children, a great sister to her brother, Ryan and sister, Lesli. Erin had an easy going personality making friends wherever she went, always willing to help other people with aspirations to be a counselor. Erin was a good student, loved to read, write stories and poetry and hoped to compose a book someday. As a young girl, Erin played Barbies, Lego, tag, swimming and spent much time riding her bike. She loved to participate in sports including: racquetball, baseball and volleyball. Erin had a love for nature, her favorite flower was the daffodil, camping and fishing were favorite times, often naming the fish that were caught. Erin's family was very important to her, enjoying holiday celebrations and gatherings. She had a wonderful imagination, sense of humour, loved to laugh, enjoying music and singing. The Ceremony to Celebrate Erin's Life will be held at Calvary Temple, 620-34th Street, on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Gary Jennings will officiate. Pallbearers are: Dale Chorney, Rick Chorney, Randy Chorney, Reg Simms, Byron Jantzen, Morley Hedley, Ian Rookes and Peter Dolloff. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
