Ron retired in April 1985 and relaxed his first few years before going to Apache Junction, Arizona for 10 winters. Dad and mom travelled to Alaska, British Columbia and Nova Scotia to visit family many times. After snow birding they returned to live in Brandon together until 2010 when mom passed. Ron moved to Hobb's Manor in 2014 and met many new friends. He loved to joke and had a great sense of humour. Ron is survived by sons David (Maire) and Kevin (June); sister Reta; nieces Pat, Karen and nephew Wayne. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Rita of 52 years; step-mother Caroline; nephew Richard and brother-in-law John.
